Another Routine Appt

More baby heartbeat kareoke... and all is well. The little guy is definitely sideways. His head and his little pointy bottom can both be seen when I lie flat. He is apparently growing just fine and his heartbeat is strong. Back to the doctor's office in 2 more weeks. It's hard to believe that the next appointment will be in May. Time flies!

Little Guy's Room

Things are coming together in the little guy's room. Of course, we picked an airplane theme! Brian painted the walls and we hung a cute wallpaper border and some matching curtains. We also got the crib and stroller assembled, so we are getting closer to being ready for his arrival. One of our cats has decided that the changing table might make a great bed, but thankfully neither of them has tried to get into the crib. The crib is absolutely beautiful. Brian's Uncle Ralph made it for their twins in 1994. It is really a work of art, and (thanks to the family engineering gene), it is super safe.

Routine Appt

I am on the every-2-weeks rotation at the doctor's office now, and my visit today was very brief. The baby's heartbeat is strong and I am doing fine. The doc laughed a bit when he went to measure my belly because the little guy's head was sticking out like a lump. I have to lie down flat on the examining table for them to measure. For the past few weeks everytime I lie down you can see a fairly sizable lump on my right side. It's not noticeable when I am sitting or standing, though I can certainly feel exactly where his little head is... He's pretty much sideways in there.
