We went to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and had a blast. Lots of fun for the 3 birthday girls (we are within 5 days of each other) and for the 3 guys pictured here!

Fun Day with Grams & Pops and special guest Meg D
We recently took a fun trip to FL and stopped in with Grams and Pops. There were some fun times in the pool and Aunt Meg came over for a relaxing dinner. We also celebrated Meg's birthday.

Happy early birthday to Meg!
We celebrated round 1 of Meg's second birthday this afternoon with chocolate cake and pink icing. Scott helped me write Meg's name on the cake, and it was his idea to add the tiger paw. He also gave the BEAUTIFUL bangle bracelets that Meg is wearing in the third picture. Amazingly, Meg can name all the colors without missing. Brian & I gave Meg the Minnie Mouse tricycle, soccer shin pads (just like her brother's, except pink), and purple soccer socks. Meg loves purple, and she was a big fan of having shin pads just like her brother. The shin pads and soccer socks are being worn in the pictures below of the trike. Big brother Scott is showing Meg how to go super-cool-fast on his big wheel around the cul-de-sac, and Meg is a good learner - wanting to go "FAST, Momma!" down the hill. Meg's actual birthday is in the middle of the week, but we decided to have the first round of fun today, when we could take the time to enjoy the cake and presents. Yay, Meg!
Go Avengers!
Another great soccer Saturday morning. Go Avengers, Go! The team is getting much better at kicking the ball and they are starting to think about passing and the role of defense positions.

soccer weekend
Here are some pictures from Scott's soccer game this weekend. We had some warmer temperatures than we have had over the past few days, so everyone was a bit peaked out by the end. The team had a great time and Meg and her baby doll enjoyed cheering for the Avengers. The last picture is Meg wearing her favorite kitty cat pajamas and Scott's chin guards - backwards - while she is coloring a picture. :)

happy birthday to Brian
These are a few pictures from our celebration of Brian's birthday. Meg usually sings Happy Birthday rather loud at the mere mention of cake, but I think I threw her off when I started singing from the kitchen, before she could see the cake...and she thought she was going to miss out. This is our only explanation for the lack of participation you see below on Meg's face. Show her a piece of cake any other time and she will burst into the Happy Birthday song. Any type of cake will do. Wedding? Happy Birthday is the perfect song for wedding cake! :) Scott, on the other hand was not confused or deterred, as you can see from his puffy blowing-candle cheeks. He helped me decorate the cake, too. We made sure it had Dad's favorite color for the decorative icing (orange) and LOTS of sprinkles (Scott's favorite). It even has a tiger paw on it, but it is difficult to make it out under all of the sprinkles.
Brian took the kids on a canoe ride after dinner. Meg likes to put her hands in the water, and decided to dribble the water all over her hair, even though it was way too cool out for bathing suits.
