Legos and the high seas
Playing with Legos involves two distinct phases : 1) serious concentration while stacking and pulling apart and 2) laughter and squealing while scrambling them around with reckless abandon. Phase 2 is best with company, but no help is required - or desired - in phase 1. Scott is big on doing things himself.
Brian & Scott went on an adventure this morning in my parents' kayak on the neighborhood lake behind the house. They floated around with the ducks, found the small island, investigated the fake Canadian goose, etc. Big fun!

More vacation pictures
Scott roaming the coastline in front of the cottage. He was on a mission to find rocks to throw.
RuthAnn, Scott, and I enjoying a nice dip in the water at Crystal Beach. Scott thought it was hilarious to drop rocks, have me pick them up and hand them to him so he could drop them again. This was fun over and over and over and over...

Family Visit Pictures
Scott on the back porch - waving. I can't remember if he was waving "hey" or "bye-bye".
Scott and Grandpa playing with the bubbles at the concert in the park. This was a fabulous Bluegrass dinner time concert at a state park. There were hula hoops, bubbles, and a playground to entertain the kids and everyone brought a picnic dinner and chairs to sit in and watch the show.
S
cott and Great-Grandpa. Scott was quite fond of his Great-Grandpa's afghan. He thinks all knitted or crocheted blankets are HIS!

The last one is of Brian and Scott enjoying a tractor ride - both of them waving. The jury is out as to which of them is enjoying the ride more. :)
