We went to a local farm for a beautiful hike, a corn maze (which Scott mastered), a hay ride, and some you-pick-em pumpkins. The weather was great, and we had a nice hike, then we circled back for the hay ride to the pumpkin patch. Everyone enjoyed picking out pumpkins and lopping them off the vine. There was a fabulous wallow of mud near the place where you get back on the hayride... guess who could not resist it. We had two short people who could not resist the mud and one tall person who thought it was awesome and was very encouraging. :) Scott stayed fairly clean, but you can see muddy Meg below...which was really fun until she decided it was time to clean off, and there was no hose immediately available. It became a bit disturbing to her and she needed a snuggly seat on Mom's lap for the hayride back to the barn, of course. As soon as we got back Brian found a hose and cleaned her up. Best one-liner of the day, "My got my leg back!"
