We went to the zoo today and had a great time. Meg and I wanted to see the giraffes, and we got to feed them lettuce. They really love salad, according to Meg, and she desperately wanted to pet them. Scott wanted to see the turtles (tortoises), and he named all of them and told us their family relationships. I think there was a kid, a dad, and a cousin. He is also getting pretty good at reading the map and figuring out how to get where he wants to go. Scott REALLY enjoyed the new ropes course at the zoo. There are several pictures of our brave climber way up high. Everyone enjoyed the elephants and the gorillas. There was even a side-by-side sprinting contest between the gorilla and Meg. She gave it a good try... And the last picture is from the very end of the day - two worn out kids on the lion statue before loading up in the van. Meg barely made it to the interstate before she fell asleep in her car seat. Good adventure!
