Family visit on the Chesapeake

Here are a bunch of pictures from our recent trip to visit Brian's family. We were able to combine business and personal travel into a fabulous visit. This is a picture of Scott and his favorite pastime of throwing rocks into the water. Here we are riding in Uncle Ralph's boat watching Brian ski.
Scott getting a boat driving lesson from Uncle Ralph.
Brian doing cool tricks on the board.
Brian and Scott riding the tube. This was only cool for a very short time. I think next time we will let Scott ride before he watches Daddy fall down several times doing cool tricks. This is a picture of me proving to myself that I do still know how to slalom ski.
What a great treat to wake up from a nap and get to go on a tractor ride with Grandpa!
Brian, Scott, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Greg went to the Philly zoo while I went to a meeting in DC. I love this picture of Scott hugging the gorilla statue.
A fun train ride at the zoo
And a great way to end a fabulous day - reading a book with Grandma.

Inaugural Destruction

Congratulations to Anne and the whole Big Bad Wolf Incorporated team on their 100% successful, wildly impressive, inaugural destruction. Sorry, but you will have to wait until the official grand opening in October for detailed pictures - Brian.

Sprinkler

Lots of fun in the backyard with the sprinkler. Scott is not quite tall enough to jump over the sprinkler - though he tries very hard because Brian can step over the sprinkler, and Scott wants to do EVERYTHING that Brian does. The last picture cracks me up - Scott is shooting back.

Lettuce Head

There is a terrible growling monster in the kitchen! Oh no, its LETTUCE HEAD!!!! ROAR!!!

Labor Day Camping Trip

Here are some pictures from our camping trip this weekend. We had a great time, and the weather was picture perfect for camping. We had a nice group: Scott and his nephew Mike, Tiffany, and the 3 of us. Little Scott did a great job hiking. He took breaks by riding in the all terrain jogging stroller (love the Bob!) or riding on shoulders, and he spent a lot of time in the dirt at the campsite. He really likes to go camping. Thankfully, he has gotten very good about actually sleeping in the tent - even for an after lunch nap. Yea! Looks like there are a lot of state parks in our future. :)
