Hiking trip with Big Scott

We enjoyed a weekend visit and had two Scotts in the house for a few days. One afternoon we went for a hike at a local park. Scott (the shorter) pushed Meg for a while at the beginning, spent lots of time climbing rocks, messed with sticks, and just generally was everywhere. Meg walked some, and climbed all over the rocks when we were stopped, but she did spend a considerable amount of time in the stroller and was carried like Cleopatra over the rockier parts. Considering the time of day we started the hike - Meg's normal nap time - she did great. Fortunately, the trail was mostly flat, so the guys did not have to cart her too much. The watermelon waiting  for us at the end was refreshing on a warm summer day.

Scott is getting braver about riding things behind the boat. He now enjoys tubing, and has tried to get up on skis, but has not yet made it.  He will get his balance soon...

Kindergarten end of school program

Pictures from the end of year program at school.  Scott and his buddy Addison have been in the same class since they were 1 yr olds. I hope they will be in the same class next year as first graders!

Scott's birthday party

Here are some fun pics from Scott's birthday party.  The kids had  BLAST with the superhero costumes in the bounce house, the Captain America cake, water balloons in the backyard, and splashing in the shallow water of the lake. We even had a celebrity appearance from their kindergarten teacher, Mrs. G.  She is very special and we had a great K-5 year.
