Moving... please be patient

OK, blogger peeps... we are moving soon. Brian and I are road-tripping on Sunday to go close on this house. Scott is enjoying Spoil Kingdom, also know as Gram's and Pops' house for a few days. So, we will be busy driving, painting, flying back, packing, waving at the moving van, and driving again. The last drive should really be hilarious: 2 adults, 1 child, 2 cats, and a lot of stuff riding down the road for about 9 hours. Are we there yet? Anyway, please do not be surprised if I can't blog much in the next 2 weeks.

Brian won paper, scissor, rock and gets to fly back one more time to get our airplane.

ABC's

Scott really enjoys singing (or trying to sing) his ABC's. He doesn't get all the letters, but he is getting better each time. He prompts us to sing with him after dinner, in the car, while changing his clothes, etc. Here he is after dinner:

Valentine's Day Dance

Scott's day care had a cute Valentine's Day Dance for each class. Here are some pictures from the event. Scott LOVES balloons, so we spent some time playing with them, and he did jam to a few songs near the end of the party. They had feathery boas for the little girls and top hats for the little boys. Scott enjoyed his hat very much and decided not to remove it when the party was over. The video at the bottom of this post is of Scott and his full body interaction with the balloons.

Orange grin

Scott LOVES oranges. If he sees one on the counter, he will ask for it, no matter what time of day or how much he has just eaten. I think he even prefers them over M&M's - wow. This picture cracks me up because Scott is mimicking me - I had just put a slice of orange in my mouth and flashed a wide orange grin at him. He is giving me an orange grin back.

Just like Dad

We took another trip to the zoo recently and Scott wanted to wear a hat and sunglasses just like Brian, until we got there and he wanted to take them off. Here are some pictures on the way to the zoo and on the playground equipment at the zoo.
