more soccer!

Beautiful weather for soccer today. 

Meg likes to run... sometimes she watches her feet go fast... sometimes she just likes the feel of the breeze in her hair... sometimes she goes right after the ball...

Hard to go far when your feet don't touch the ground - this is pretty much a plunk'em and keep'em right there kind of team bench. 

Meg loves snacks. Last time at the soccer field she said. "Scott's coach said that they lost, but that's not right because everybody got snack."

Scott likes to play defense.

Terrific Kid

Scott was honored at school today and received the Terrific Kid award. It was really wonderful to hear the reasons why the classroom teachers selected each of kids. A group photo and the short paragraph about each kid will be posted in the school for a month, then they will send a copy of the photo and each child's note home to the parents. What a great idea, Kiwanis!

Scott also showed me a piece of his artwork that was hanging in the hall right outside the cafeteria.

Spring break vacation - 5 (the end)

Last day of fun at the Magic Kingdom and the Mickey's Backyard Barbecue. We had a fabulous time!

Grams met us at EPCOT for the day and we had lots of fun together.

Team Purple edges out the red race car, and Meg is ecstatic! (She will remember this ride for the rest of her life... she won against Scott... her older brother who seems to be better and stronger at everything under the sun, though he is nice and helpful and all.)
