We got a quick look at the baby on Friday morning. Actually, it doesn't look like much at all. It looks like a blob, so I outlined it in red in the ultrasound picture. What you won't see in the picture is the rapid little heartbeat that we saw on the screen at the doctor's office. The heart was flashing white/dark/white/dark on the screen - right about where the smaller red outline is on the picture. Very cool! The baby appears to be doing exactly what it is supposed to be doing right now. The ultrasound specialist says the due date is late June.
