Growing like a weed

Scott had his 2 month check up yesterday. He weighed in at 11 lbs 4 oz (55% for weight) and he was 23 1/4 inches tall (75% for height). The change in height of only a quarter of an inch since his 1 month appointment is a bit deceiving because his legs and torso are growing while the cone shape of his head is decreasing. We have some newborn size outfits with feet that no longer fit him because his legs are too long. Anyway, he got a good report and received his first big round of vaccinations. We were nervous that he would be fussy all afternoon and evening because of the shots, but it went pretty well. He was actually fairly sleepy yesterday. When he was awake, he was hungry. He ate big time chow and slept for two long stretches of almost 5 hours each last night. Yea! He is trying to smile, and loves to make eye contact. We are looking forward to happy coos and smiles just around the corner.

Brian's brother Greg is in town to visit for several days and has been a HUGE help. We are really enjoying his company.
