Play time

Scott is enjoying playing with his Christmas presents. He knows EXACTLY how to work all the buttons that make noise on the dump truck toy. Finding the buttons took less than a second and he loves to push them over and over and over and over... Doesn't everybody need constant replay of the sound of a diesel engine starting up and the beep beep of a large vehicle backing up? When the cats get annoyed they ask to go out on the porch.

He also loves the set of wood blocks. Brian & I love them because they are a treasured hand-me-down, made years ago by Brian's grandfather for Brian's dad when he was 3 or so, and used for generations. Scott likes them because he can toss them out of the little cart and chew on them. Soon they will all have a slightly higher moisture content than the did before Christmas. :)

And when there aren't any toys on hand, dad's hair is pretty fun to mess with, too. (I love the little camouflage outfit he is wearing in this picture. It says "Major Cutie" on the front - ha ha!)
