We had a bunch of friends over for a backyard cookout in honor of Meg's 1st birthday. The weather was absolutely perfect for it, and everyone had a great time catching up, eating burgers or dogs, watching the kids run around the yard, laughing at Meg eating cake, and polishing off some yummy cake themselves. The pictures below are mostly of Meg eating cake, but the first one is her with her Godmother, Tiffany, and Tiffany's husband Patrick (married 2 weeks - congrats!). The last picture is after Meg had a quick bath and opened her presents. She is playing with her sweet baby doll, and she just gave it a "pat, pat pat".

Lose the bow, Mom! It's time to get serious about some chocolate cake here!
