Cub Scout Camping - busy weekend

We had a big weekend - camping, soccer, BMX birthday party, and more camping! Some rain, but we had a great time. First up in the pictures are banana boats for dessert on Friday night. Always a hit.

Dutch oven breakfast - mmm mmm good.

Slaying bad guys while waiting for breakfast

Shhh... don't tell Meg that she can't read yet...

Morning soccer - very convenient when you are camping at the same park.
You can just mosey on over to the fields after breakfast.

Hey Mom! The ball's going to be in play any second now...

Afternoon BMX birthday party for Scott's friend Addison

Back to the campground for some fun times

The magnificent climbing tree - keeps kids occupied for hours.

The rain came and made BIG puddles.

Meg and Annabelle enjoy helping with dessert. They keep all the stray chocolate pieces and marshmallows from going to waste.

Dutch oven, this is going to be yummy.

We had a great campfire in between rain storms.

When the skit was over, the rain REALLY came down and lots of people scrambled for their cars. Some stayed for yummy desserts, and the rain kept coming down. Like this...

We camped anyway, and slept well. We were pretty soggy in the morning.

Now we have plenty of camping gear to rinse off! It was a great weekend!
